What am I doing?

It's ok to not be sure of yourself.

You have permission.

In fact, I think it is healthy. It means you are always assessing your path and trying to take the optimal route.

You may be asking yourself:

  • Am I following the right career path?

  • Should I get a computer science or related degree?

  • Should I enroll in a web development bootcamp?

  • Should I follow a self-taught learning path?

I'm sure you have heard about people who have followed a navigation app only to drive to a completely incorrect location.

It's ok to question directions and reassess the way to your destination.

On my LinkedIn profile, I state that I like rebels & rulebreakers. I appreciate those who learn by questioning what is known instead of simply accepting what is.

I hope it is healthy because I question (and even doubt) myself on a daily basis.

It would be great to be like The Mandalorian and know "this is the way" without a shred of doubt. However, I fear that would be my greatest weakness at the same time. I cannot stop myself from questioning the world around me and wonder what could be improved upon.

I think I'm in constant "recalculating" mode. I'm constantly unsure.

I think that's a good thing.
